I am trying to understand symposium pixie. I shot a vid of myself doing

TOE set (what I believe to be: no plant while [BOD]) > SAME IN [DEX] > OP TOE [DEL]

Is this a symposium pixie or just a regular pixie? If it's not symposium, how do I do it differently for it to be a symposium? Would appreciate any insight. Thank you.

I think for symposium pixie you need to jump off only the foot you are dexing with, just like symposium mirage but jump off the foot you set with. like thishttp://hackrifice.com/moves/3symppixie.wmv

Oh, and I dont think you are talking about the set bet if you were talking about a symposium pixie set it would be called a hyper set.

A symp pixie feels very similar to a symp mirage..the difference being that you set the bag then immediately plant to do a symposium-style dex with the same foot (the one that you set with)....so basically what Matt is saying.

It's definitely something weird to wrap your head around at first..just remember that you're setting with the same foot you symp. dex with (in-out just like a symp. mirage) and then delaying on your opposite foot.

Don't think about doing a pixie when you do it...the two aren't similar motions in the least.

say you're setting off your right foot, set the bag a little bit higher than your knee and a little bit to the right of your knee. your setting foot needs to get down QUICK, and then you want your balance leaning towards the right, and hop over it making sure you don't turn, focus on getting your knee high when you do this jump.

also, you can do this over a recycling bin, or something similar to help you get the dex.
