Thanks to everyone who came! I had a great weekend and I can only hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Props to Barrett for putting together a great event, to matt for providing hours of entertainment on the mic, jorden for putting on some flawless demos that really captured an audience, everyone who donated prizes or contributed to the prize pool, ken for going dropless in routines for the first time ever in his career (at the same spot he started playing), and everyone else who was involved. It was great seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones. Can't wait till next time!

I had a siiiiiiiiiiick time. Got there way early Saturday morning and was able to get a lot of pointers from Jorden, and I mean A LOT. Everyone was awesome. Competing was a blast and really made me want to get better. Jorden's demos were so crowd friendly and Cross was perfect on the mic. Feels like the NYFA really got a lot of people interested. Random people kept buying bags and talking to the players. Four square was awesome. Ken was good and fun to play with but Goldberg was TOO good hahaha

I'm glad I was there to see Ken go dropless, love that song too. Open circle was craaaaaaaaaazy to watch haha.

Afterwards the bar was pretty chill. A little pricey but I drank a couple of beers and then didn't really mind haha. A lot of walking! Dick Shea's afterwards was a nice turnout for the awards. Don't know how the hell I got second place but I'll take it! A lot of prizes (well in my opinion). Group picture was too cute haha.

So yeah, amazing time. Bruce's craftmanship on the awards were so cool, wish he had them for intermediate! Got a planetfootbag poster which is hanging up in front of me.

OH OH OH, The only thing I did NOT enjoy was getting my hair pulled pulled by that CRAZY methed up drunk or whatever woman thinking I was taking her shit since I moved my stuff and it was near her. Did not enjoy that haha. BUT huge props to Drew Martin for saving me there.

bravo to everyone! thank you nyfa!

edit: oh and thank you Ed for buying that pitcher of beer, he was a player's older brother from Jersey, not sure who he was but that shit hit the spot!

I had a great time, met a ton of cool people. shred' for like 7 hours on Saturday, quads still a little sore, but it was most fun I've had in a while. All the events were great, thanks to Barrett and the NYFA crew for being so hospitable and organizing a great event!

Will be sure to come to the city and shred with the crew more!

k so I took a bunch of pictures. Unfortunately only during a small time frame during the event so they're pretty much of all the same people. But here they are: enjoy.

I have a few uploaded in a myspace album

http://www.myspace.com/ctfootbag

Sorry, I don't have any other online photo albums. I should probably get a flickr or something. If somebody wants to take them and post them here be my guest, I'm too lazy to right click on each individual picture, grab the url, post it here, and repeat 12 times. Also they would probably be too big for the page...Complete fail I know!

But the pics above are quite sweet!
