Wow! What an awesome weekend! Fun from Friday night straight through till about an hour ago.

We had a little rain and a dimly lit venue, but that didn't stop anyone from having an awesome time, shredding hard, and pumping out the good vibes all weekend long.

I'm gonna let the blog veterans handle the details, but lets just say that Pittsburgh proper's first ever freestyle jam was an awesome time that I won't forget anytime soon.

Caleb should be posting the competition results soon, so keep an eye out.

Now to send out a few thank yous:

-Thanks to the Pitt 4 square club for getting us hooked up with a free venue and supplying the 4 square courts and little hugs all weekend long.

-Thanks to Freedom Footbags for helping us hook the intermediates up with sweet prizes. (You guys will be seeing those soon)

-Thanks to Peter Lambert at Red Star Ironworks for making us a trophy that could easily have found a place in an art museum (but I'm sure it'll look just as good in Clavens' room)

-Thanks to Hood for hosting the event website and providing the spark that got us Pgh shredders off of our asses in time to put this thing together.

-Thanks to Chris Miller, Aiden, and Waylon Lew for stiching up some sweet 32s and donating them as prizes.

-Thanks to those cats from Redbull who showed up and hooked us all up with free drinks. They were cool.

-Thanks to the parents who spent the weekend in Pittsburgh so their kids could participate in this awesome sport.

-Thanks to everyone who made it out to chill with us this weekend. This event was a big milestone for me personally and it was a pleasure to share it with every one of you.

Here's to many more weekends just like it.

Man, I swear it always seems like every new jam I go to is more fun than the last! I had an awesome time kickin and chillin with the Pittsburgh guys, the WV guys, and everyone else that came out. Thanks to Jake, Caleb, Hood, and Ian for makin it happen. This was my first real tournament where I competed, and I did pretty well considering.

Haha it seems like all my blog entries now are recaps of tournaments. I guess that's a good thing!

Some quick props -

- Jake M. for really taking a lot of responsibilities and making sure things happened.
- Caleb for crash space, hosting the event, and being the President of Pittsburgh
- All 32 bag donations (Chris, Way, Aiden)
- 4 square club for hooking us up with a nice venue and some mad huggies hookups.
- Nathan for my new awesome 32 - and another prop for some seriously impressive shred.
- Miller for rippin for his first competition and donating an awesome bag.

If anybody took pictures, I'd appreciate it if you'd post them here, I'd like to save'm to my comp for good memories

Oh yeah, I should be putting out 2 or 3 videos. One of competition (pretty raw) , Offside shred (fully edited), and maybe a Cleaver Special if I have enough footage. I didn't record any, I was too busy gettin skooled by everyone, and loving it !!! Thanks to anybody who picked up my cam and recorded.
