patterns

Post by skimhumboldt? » 15 Jan 2005 20:47

does anybody have any mini 32 patterns there willing to share? Ive looked around and ive downloaded a lot of polymod programs, but all i get is the 32s with the hexs a lot bigger than the pents. i want it to be the other way around, like normal 32 bags. any help would be most appreciated.

draw a triangle.

Chop the corners.

Voila, the hexes used on "normal" 32 panel bags.

ok, here we go, an obvious question that i dont know. when sewing a 32 with bleed holes, are the hexs tecniqualy triangles because of you flapping the corners down together and when you flip it right side out it turns out looking like hexs? if not whats the story with bleedholes?

Hey man, I can't find the word bleedholes in the dictionary, so I don't really understand what you mean, but the hexes are not tecniqualy triangles... They are Hexes... Maybe I can help you more if you explain Bleedholes.

Yes, you can think them like triangles in which you have "cutted all corners".
But if you really mean are they cutted like triangles I say no. For my bags I allways cut pieces to hexes. Don´t know if I answered what you wanted to know buuut...

A while ago I put out a request for patterns and someone gave me a sheet with a bunch of 32 pannel bags in different sizes on it. If you search for patterns or 32 pannel patterns it may show up.
