My English book claims the letter "c" in "Macedonia" is pronounced as "s", not as "k" as I've always thought.
EDIT:
Does anyone know any software for converting .mp3 -files to such files that can be copied to a normal cd and can be played with a cd player?
There's something wrong with my mp3 player. Besides, it's easier to listen and shred at the same time without the earphones...

No clue on the software thing, but if you mean Macedonia as in Macedonia nuts, then it is a k sound.

That's macadamia nuts there Sandy. It is Masadonia.
Sniikeri, most every piece of CD burning software allows you to input mp3 files. Try Deep Burner, Nero, or Fireburner. For making music CD's, I personally use DeepBurner.

ON the audio CD thing. I agree that most programs should burn it from MP3. I use windows media player and it does.
BUT, if you want to convert, just do a google search for audio converter. You should get a link to a program that will convert between different audio formats. I used on to convert my collection INTO MP3 format.
