We have finally finished our Footbag portal, where you can find just about anything Footbag-related. The portal is not translated yet, but we are working on it. So you can soon expect an English version too.
So, what is it all about, you ask? Well my history with Footbag begins with watching one of the Czech videos (Telocvicna 4) and since then, I have seen and downloaded most of the Footbag videos worth watching. So I believe that progress [in Footbag] is very video-related. And knowing how hard it is to find all the videos, I always dreamt of an ultimate Footbag website with ALL of the videos in ONE place.
So there you have it...we had a LOT of problems with the website, but now it is finally working (almost) as it should. I have uploaded basicly every single one of the good Footbag videos. Having so many, I had to divide them into groups. So since you will be reading our page in Slovenian language, here is where you must go:
1. "Galerija filmov" means "Video gallery"
2. "Tekmovanja" means "Events/Competitions"
3. "Posnetki z ulice" means "Street footage"
4. "Posamezni triki" means "Single tricks videos"
5. "Zavezniki video" means "Footage from our members"
You are free to download any video you desire. You do not have to register/login. This is a totaly free portal, designed to help expand Footbag in Slovenia (and hopefuly elsewhere).
Just two more things to mention:
1. We have a great amount of space on our server, so we will be adding videos all the time. But please, you must understand that even 160GB of space CAN get full. If you have a good video, with good players, you can send it to zavezniki@gmail.com (PM me before, please!), but we won't upload every one. We would like to, but we just can't.
Regarding the server, it is a bit slow. Optimal transfer rate is around 30kb/s, but can easily drop to 4kb/s if many people are downloading. So please, download only what you need (or at least not everything at once).
2. Regarding the video rights...I know what trouble goes into making a good video. So if anyone wants to, we can add a comment next to the video, saying who made it and their website.
It would be nice if all of the videos could stay online, but if someone wants to, we can remove his/hers video...
Well...what more to say? Oh yes, we have a forum, with "English only" section, where you can talk about stuff on our site.
Whops, almost forgot...the website can be found at http://www.zavezniki.com
P.S
This would make a good sticky, no?
