Steel City Shred Off - Offside Shred (2 in 1!)

Post by HooD » 24 Jul 2006 15:28

Here is a lil summin summin I put together. Sorry for any type of misrepresentation of one's skills or lack of video. There wasn't a lot of filming done and so I didn't have much to work with. I really would have liked to have some more of Brad, Caleb, Jake, Nathan, Josh, but alas, we were havin too much fun shreddin. Thanks to Jake / Caleb and a tad bit of Dave for filming, if it weren't for them, there'd be no record of the sweetness that this event was. I usually get pretty tired of watching my videos because of the repetative process and getting everything as perfect as I can, but I can really say I haven't gotten bored of this video. Mainly because what I great time I had and the people that made it out to make the event what it was. I hope next years will be twice as pimp, play on playas, play on.

And of course any critiques / comments on editing or anything else is appreciated.

Favorite new vid!! :D I know I say that to a lot of vids, but this is my current fave lol. Awesome work HooD! Shred was awesome, subtle effects were great and music was both funny and fitting at the same time haha.

Serious. Those were my favorite aspects, aside from the jaaaawsome shred.

Awesome video, John, thanks for sharing such glory.

Perfect 10 :D

Music, Editing, Vibe, all well crafted.

Those scenes with the huge combos and then fade-out were kind of reminiscent of Where the Ripwalk Ends. I don't know if you meant to do that or not, but it's cool to see continuity and influence between footbag videos.

Nice work Hood!

I don't knoooow...the others seem to like it, I think it'd be worth your time if you enjoy footbag. Anyways, thanks for all the positive feedback ! If a brave soldier wants to break that streak with some criticism, I'd love that too.

Sorry Mr. Potter, I just don't know if it'd work out between us like that... I'm east coast, you're west coast, ya know.

Nice editing man. I am glad to have caught some of the stuff I missed. I swear the crap that DK busts out awakens the Mr. T inside of and makes me fu;(ing skool.

Great vid. Since your into the artsy/technical/hiphop sytle, I reccomend you check this cat's edits. http://www.myspace.com/girltalkmusic
