I shall be bringing my camera to Chilly Philly, and most likely will make a video of the footage I get. However, I was talking with Dave today and he brought up the fact that there is very little intermediate footage available on the internet. However, I think people would rather see the best of the best. Recently there was a post about the lack of Sunil footage, and I could provide this, and footage of the more unknown pros.
Share your opinions: Do you feel the need for pros, or do you desire intermediates?

i think it would be neat to have a small vid with footage only of Modified players
a separate vid for BAP players

Umm...I like watching both. I like to see the crazy cool ppl and just drool, but I still like to see intermediates get better. I wish I had a camera to tape myself and post the vids...I only have a few pics and may take more some day. I don't think pics show too much improvement though. Some day I will get a video camera...I hope.

i love seeing intermediate players, especially the up and comers. the guys who one video are hitting tiltless runs, and the next are hitting guiltless runs, and the next are hitting strong guiltless runs with lots of 4's and 5's.

I like seeing intermediatres because they are closer to my skill level and I feel I can learn more from them. When I wacth pros I just think 'That's crazy, I could never do that.' With intermediates I can see exactly what they are doing and it is easier to learn.

2 videos...one for each
I like watching Int. because I can learn more from them and it's cool to see what they are doing with their combinations and it can sometime inspire my combinations to metamorphize.
I like watching Pros b/c it's like: Holy S*%$!, did they just hit that?!?

Part of the reason that there isn't much intermediate footage on the net is because it is hard to get. Lemme 'splain better. You can video tape a pro for probably 20 minutes in a circle and get a couple pretty good runs. If you tape an intermediate over that span, you might not even get 1 run that you and that intermediate are both proud of. Part of the reason intermediates are intermediates is because they are inconsistent. Just remember that it might take more batteries/tape/patience when trying to find a phat intermediate run. Plus if you want to include a bunch of different players (say intermediates on modified), you have to film that much more.
