Michelle: Jay hasn't really been the same since he saw this. I've found him gazing into the distance, sometimes giggling, sometimes with his head in his hands, or just unable to speak to me. I even heard him telephone Juho in Finland from my living room begging him to be day 24 this year. Apparently day 20 is Jupe day. Go to his blog to read the full story.
Joulu-Jupe 3.0
First I want to thank Jay for doing all the nasty work to make the calendar happen once again. This year I wanted to film some new stuff for the calendar and not just put all the material from different years together which I have been basically doing with all the previous calendar-vids. Made a visit to the legendary basement and this is what I came up with. Hope you like it! -Juho

super awesome!
just a little story: the very moment i realized how crazy good juho is, was at danish open a few weeks ago. the finish guys plus some more (including me for a few tries) were playing a variation of horst. so somebody trying a trick or combo and the others in the circle have to do the same with same amount of tries. i think aleksi hit spinning flail first or second try. so everybody attempting, some hit it, but from all the players you could hear that symposium BANG on the ground, except from Juho, his flail sounded like a toe stall... no sound

This is my favorite response. Fitting and accurate.

I've been out of the game for some time, and while footbag vids regularly show up on my news feed, I don't regularly check them out. As soon as I saw the thumbnail image I knew it was Juho and I immediately clicked the link. I was not disappointed. One of the best styles in the game, hands down. First time in a long while since I have wanted to go kick.
Side bar: Love the Jermaine Stewart remix! If anyone knows which one it is I'd love to know.

Wow!
I have to say it's one of the best garage-shredvideos this year.
Juho is amazng every time - much props on style, trick selection and genuine runs!
Big respect from all polish scene, as we comment it a lot on polish forum

I was at work yesterday and was supposed to wait until I get home to watch this video. I couldn't wait that long though, so I thought I'd watch it quickly before my lunch break. I put on my headphones and hit full screen. My screams and laughs attracted the attention of my co-workers. I ended up watching it four times in a row, and then twice more after I got back from lunch. Then a couple more times when I got home. I can't remember the last time a footbag video got me so hooked.

I've tried to watch every calendar video so far, and I've watched my favorites twice. For some reason though, this one is in a different class. I've probably watched this video more times than all the other calendar videos put together. The style is good, the edit is fun, the combos are insane...but it somehow is more enjoyable than the sum of its parts. I really can't put my finger on it, but rather than overthink that, I'll just enjoy it.
Super kiitos. My favorite video of the year.

Seriously. I just watched this video on repeat for about half an hour. Just keeps getting better and better. Who shot and edited the footage? I assume it was Jere V?

Definitely my favourite calendar video. The slow motion ups the appeal and presents an opportunity to study Juho's incredible style. I'm taking a close look at his grifters in particular, they look so tight.
Also the music is indeed awesome. It's a subtle mix of the original.
